White/pink noise can be introduced from day one and is not only a great source of womb-like comfort, but it can also help buffer against domestic sounds – ie. the toddler putting on a pots and pans concert during nap time.
It is never too late to introduce white noise. I personally use and recommend the Glow Dreaming machine.
Pro tip: Make sure it plays all night long and for the entire nap length.
